MY BRIEF BIO
Spawned in Detroit. Went to college. Tried to make it as a drummer. Didn’t. Flipped burgers on the Jersey shore. Became a bank teller. Moved up to file clerk at LA ad agency. Took a copywriting course. Moved to NY. Mooched off girlfriend while searching for work. Landed first copywriting job: Smirnoff Vodka. Landed second copywriting job: fired in four weeks. Found my niche in tech advertising. Toiled as Steve Jobs’ ad guy for 12 years. Wrote a NY Times Bestseller. Became international speaker. Wrote a second book. Found true happiness. But … still kinda wish the drumming thing panned out.
